Must do Sydney icon. A pub that's been consistently great for decades. The oak tree lit with fairy lights also nice to sit under for beer & pizza .

Good selection of beers on tap , nice pizzas , and that beautiful tree ! Also a brilliant concept where you can drink beers in the bottle shop :)

Absolutely love this pub , heaps of pool tables and areas to drink and smoke. A beautiful big oak tree in the centre of a large courtyard just tops it all off. Highly recommend to anyone

One of the best outdoor seating areas in the north shore. Great atmosphere for anyone. Food is good. You must check out that amazing tree !!!

Its a while since I've been - why would you go? Pleasant and popular .. and the Oak Tree is pretty remarkable .. give it 6-ish..

Bottle shop stays open pretty late so good for a six pack after a late arrival home. Beer garden will be PACKED on a nice night all year round.

Just discovered for the first time there is an upstairs with various rooms and pool tables ! Pretty cool... love the Oak tree with lights on a Sat night. Great atmosphere :)

The calamari appetizer is small but really tasty. You'll not be disappointed by the mussels and frites . I suggest the provencale.

If you are there for lunch , go to the 1923 bar . Prices are $10 a dish cheaper than the bistro and beer garden . $9 for a pie and chips rather 19.

Check out the light fittings in the front bar (1936) - they look like ornamental buttholes. Artsy !

Oaks Delux Pizza is a winner. Different bars serve different beers on tap .

Casual pub where you can get really good food. I recommend the pizzas and of course the DIY BBQ meat is excellent too. Friendly staff with a relaxed feel and a really nice beer garden with the Oak.
