Great soba and udon comfort dishes. The tempura is on point. Tried to 100% buckwheat soba , tasty and on the thicker texture side. The egg custard dessert is decent.
Not only soba but also lots of good appetizers included sushi n sashimi like "izakaya ". It looks very unassuming from outside, but great food quality! I like here!
Love this place... Really good soba and tempura ! Sneaky little entrance though the back only.
Dave Chang’s fav place to eat in LA - not high end but authentic and equivalent to a corner udon shop a salaryman would eat at in Japan
100% buckwheat noodle , which is very rare. Very good! They even serve "soba yu", which is the hot water used for cooking soba . Pour it into ur dipping sauce n drink it!

This place is so authentic ! Cold soba noodles is the way to go. Mushroom tempura is out of this world.
Get the cold soba noodles and buckwheat tea .
This place serves very Japanese izakaya dishes, and you may complete your dinner with fine Soba here. Highly recommended.
Love the tenzaru soba .
Used to be better. Now worst. Nasty too much deep fried tempura makes you feel sick after you eat it. Look at the pic, they put Soba on kitchen paper... Who the world do this stupid stuff?
Awesome, authentic , japanese food !
Their cold noodle is AMAZING. parking is a bit hard to find tho. :(
anago tempura !
This is one of the few places where you can eat real Japanese soba noodle .
They don't sell the uni and ikura don anymore. :<
Don't show up too late - they may run out of noodles
Back door (parking side) does not look like the entrance but it is.
悪くないが何か物足りなさを感じてしまう。アメリカでこれ以上のアジ を求めるのは不可能だてすると、大変ありがたい店である。
순 100% 모밀을 맛볼수있는 집.

The nabeyaki bowl with udon and kansei broth is DELICIOUS. The tempura here is also fantastic. - CMari
Great Japanese grocery and home goods store. Downstairs is grocery and upstairs is like a Don Quijote. - Justin Ordoveza
