Mid week daytime shopping is the key here. Weekends are packed here and make the experience pretty stressful. In addition the cafe is good value for a cheap meal.
It's Ikea. What more do you expect? Get in. Get buying. Get out. This place can become massively crowded on a weekday evening so try aim for early morning weekends to avoid some of the rush
Slightly unusual design for this IKEA compared to the others I’ve been to- it’s not above the parking and the building shape is different
The biggest and most well stocked IKEA in London. If it isn't here, you will have to order it from warehouse or online. Shipping can take long then.
If you know what you want & where it is, get some hot dogs , go straight through the checkouts to the locations & aisle. You'll save time, money, energy & won't pick up things you don't need.
Weekday shopping is the way to go! And spare some time for the meatballs and fries with gravy at the canteen #delicious 👌
Love everything. Also meatballs .
Use your phone camera to snap photos of the self service stickers for easy reference later 😄🇬🇧.
Good range of products, high and low quality at according prices. Always good discount food. Also the connects with bus and tube is good.
Cheap meals but flavoursome! Can get crowded at weekends.
Look where you're going with your trolly at all times. Don't just spin it round like a twat, else you'll smash a display full of glasses like the guy I saw.
Freak the staff out. Get their attention in Swedish - Excuse me! is "Ursäkta mig" [Ur-shaek-ta mey] and for politeness thank you is Tack så mycket [Tak so myykket]
If you are looking to return an item in IKEA you will first need to collect a token from the corner machine at the customer service and wait for your turn to be called.
Meatballs every time and set all the egg timers for 2 mins stand back and watch
IKEA wanted to increase bulb and battery recycling rates and initiated the development of the technology with Light Bulb Recycling machines Read more
Tons of cheap crap packaged and displayed for a wonderful family experience. Enjoy!
Has possibly the cheapest fun fair ride for toddlers in London at £1 per person
Free charging for your EV - via a credit on your spend in store. Pumps are near the main entrance.
Probably the better Ikea inside the M25. It is an Ikea though. You know what you're gonna get.
You have got to loving shopping at IKEA.... You buy stuff you don't need.
When you die if you have been bad you will endlessly walk through IKEA searching for a way out
It's cheap for food here...even cheaper if you have the family card. Go for tge regular english breakfast at £1.65 with your card...bargain..!
Meatballs and chips the only saving-grace of a nightmarish scramble for furniture you assemble yourself
Don't visit during the day in half term. The place is mobbed; 20mins plus at the checkout, 40mins plus at the collection point.
Best place for a quick shop for the house and some quick food
Good self service restaurant here ;)
Multistorey car park is the furthest away from the exit! Don't park there if you can avoid it.
Don't forget to get a hot dog on your way out, they're awesome ;)
Perfect for free parking if visiting Neasden temple :-)
Free tea or coffee Monday - Friday if you're an IKEA Family member in the restaurant .
Really disappointing that Ikea doesn't have proprity queues for pregnants, disabled or elderly people. The highly civilized Sweden must have forgotten about this detail...
Oh it was thrilling the hot dogs aren't bad for 60p each I had two
Love the meatballs !!!
It's so funny seeing couples fighting in the car park over fitting flat packs into their cars lol!
Don't get the bacon for breakfast...it's horribly dry and hard as rock!! hash brown , sausage , omelette , beans & tomato are nice though.
Don't expect quick service at the returns counter on a Monday afternoon! Only buy what you need!
Had to come across London to save £50 on delivery charges...Croyden charge significantly more for the same service! nuts
Saturday opens at 9am. Breakfast time at IKEA is great a number of dishes for all taste. From vegiteriren breakfast to a meaty breakfast all priced at prices that make you smile and healthy.
if you want to avoid queues and grab a bargain head for ikea from mid Dec to mid Jan. Isles/ checkouts are empty and sale is on
Lots of crying kids and a maze of a car park , but best place for decent affordable homeware
I think this is one of the most crowded IKEA stores I've ever been to!
Ikea on a Saturday night. ROCK N ROLL. The secret is decide what you want BEFORE you enter.
Never go there around pay week. Just pure hell. Go SAS... Get in quick, get out quick.
The Food is fantastic, the Goods are even better
Pick up some groceries at checkout while hubby is queuing
Value for money ...:)
Meatballs . That is all :)
I've been in here for 3 days and still can't find my way out. Please send help.
Hell. On. Earth. Abandon all hope, all ye who enter here.
Hectic in the weekend!
Fine dining at an affordable price, my favourite restaurant in the area, although call to book a table well in advance for weekends and back holidays as it's very popular - Dave Richardson
Pretty standard Ikea cafe. Great value, and meatballs are always pretty good. Good value for coffee and cake. Lots of space for families, and good baby changing facilities. - Matt Ta-Min
The Gazpacho soup in Meals is the best I have ever eaten - anywhere! - Gordon
Probably the oldest and best chain of hardware shops in Britain; the Chiswick branch is well stocked and well managed. - Charles Polák
