This is not a typical diner & far surpassed our expectations. The service was top notch and the food was fabulous. Farmer's omelet packed with deliciousness. Also noteworthy were the fluffy pancakes !

Hands down my most favorite place to eat in NJ. Skylark salad to lamb chops r all prepared to perfection. Visit the sister diner on rt 18 in E. Brunswick (the Skylark ). Same quality but better prices!

Odd booth design. Kind of like how Friendly 's does it, without an actual partition in the middle. Also the complementary bread is probably one of the best tasting breads I've ever had!

Roasted chicken breast . It was delicious. Short ribs ...Amazing. There really isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t delicious. Americana was great as a diner it’s even more amazing as a restaurant .

For foodies! Not your typical diner . Much more thoughtful menu. Waitstaff are knowledgeable and super friendly . A favorite spot.

Great menu...never a bad experience... One of my favorite places to eat. Generally they change up the main courses seasonally to keep a variety of tastes and flavors... Exquisite.

Loved the Heuvos Rancheros , non traditional but everything on plate was filled w/flavor. Deserves its 'best diner ' designation, a foodies choice

Food is fantastic Wine list impressive & service is impeccable! Order the "hendrix experience" from the bar !

Breakfast has gone downhill here. Omlettes are routinely overcooked. However, the bloody mary is one of the best I've ever had. Bartender told me they roast their own tomatoes to make the mix.

Not your average diner...this is a luxury establishment. Always something amazing here ..menu & portions have gotten smaller and prices higher but seriously always so so good.

They have really good breakfast selections here. The morning wrap is good. During construction , as this is being typed, its a little extra packed but always worth the drive

I was so impressed that they had healthy choices on the menu like grass-fed beef , and offered a gluten-free bun . Very unusual menu options.

Omg...what a great place. Upscale diner . In-house made bread ...napa burger is the best. Goat cheese and beet salad ...yummy

I love this diner . Fresh ingredients with good coffee/pastries. Pricey place but at least the food backs it up. Parking lot can get annoying.

Great diner , but don't come expecting a traditional diner menu. Very limited selections to give an upscale feel . Everything is delicious, though.

So not really diner fare per say - a bit more gourmet/fancy, but still delicious! They have classic sandwichs and breakfast , and higher end dinners . Too pricy tho. So more special occasion ...

Came on a Saturday at 2pm. House/techno music in the diner area was unappealing. The food quality is great but the portions are small and the prices are high. Breakfast is the best option

Order the italian omelette and you won't regret it. Delicious! A pretty expensive place but it worth it.

Weekdays for breakfast wont break the bank here...but for all 3 meals visit it's sister diner on rt 18 in E. Brunswick (the Skylark ). Same quality but better prices!

The Dinner Menu is the same as the lunchtime menu except the owner has separate menus. Dinner (everything is a la carte) prices can average anywhere from $3 up per item!

An upscale diner with a smaller menu, delicious food, great service, and lovely interior.

Awesome diner , really good food and service! Crowded for breakfast on weekends but worth the wait.

Love the Lounge . Casey the bartender is the best kept secret in the area.

Good wine list . Also sign up for their loyalty card, good at all their restaurants , gives $20 after spending 250.

It's not specifically cheap but the food is good. Its a good place to have breakfast from time to time
