This is a monument that you must not miss—9 spheres made of steel that that has different halls for exhibits and other events as well as a great view of Brussels from the top. Open daily, 10am to 6pm.
A huge molecule of iron. The construction looks impressive, but the museum inside not worth its entrance price, so just take a look from the outside, laugh at the queue and go away.
Definitely one of the Brussels symbols, and it's a cool one ????????
Retro feel inside with the history of the Atomium. Interesting temporary exhibits . It is quite a haul up and down, but the elevator takes you to the top. The view from the top is worth the queue.
Built for the 1958 Universal Expo, this modern monument is really impressive. The visit is a tour in the middle of the fifties. A real delight for retro amateurs if you don't mind the touristy feel.
It's unique. Don't forget to visit it when you are in Brussel. Get inside and see it also in the evening. The shop has some fine retro souveniers and the restaurant nice food.
It is the Effel tower of Belgium. An impressive structure , and you haven't seen Brussels until you visit this! It has a restaurant at the top with a breathtaking view .
One of the most popular spot in Brussels ✨ remarkable architecture ????????????
Designed by André Waterkeyn and constructed for the 1958 Brussels World Fair , it represents an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. You will be sued if you take pictures for commercial purposes!
Belgium's most iconic landmark since 1958 or Europe's most bizarre building, as CNN put it, it's an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. Go to the upper sphere for a great panoramic view .
I was lucky to visit the Atomium during the covid-19 pandemic so it was very quiet and peaceful here on a sunny and hot day. Didn’t went inside of it because I’m not so interested in doing that.
Unmistakable symbol of Brussels and Belgium and unique feat in the history of architecture : the Atomium is today the most popular attraction in the Capital of Europe. Read more
An iconic structure to see in Brussels. It is fine without climbing in it. Instead, I would prefer the parks around the Atomium for a walk to enjoy a nice day.
Great to discover the inside of the thing. Wonderful view from the top sphere .
I liked it much.it was interesting, amazing but a little hard to visit there with the kids..sometimes we had to climb the crazy stairs!!the photos taken are pretty much expensive ! Views are fantastic.
Interesting on the outside but not a must visit on the inside, unless you're into exhibitions . Cool tunnel escalator experience on the inside though, with a light show!
Pretty nice from the outside and 50's flair inside! Definitely worth a visit! Plus great panoramic view from the top ball!
Nice place to observe the city , but not the best in Brussel in my opinion. From this place u can see also the mini europe museum
Beautiful scenic view near nice parks , this is great to combine with a visit on the parks and maybe a barbecue / pick nick!
Great views , wasn't a great fan of the exhibition but still a nice experience, not a fan of the price!
The long line is for the elevator to observation deck and the restaurant . You must also wait for elevator down. Escalator takes you to all other globes. Skip the observation deck if you hate lines .
Im sure I would have enjoyed it more had the views been better on a clear day. Other than that it’s a nice place to visit and see
One of my favorite places in Brussels! I recommended it! Check the photos of Atomium on Plaza Science, the social network for people who likes the science and the photography . I attached the link Read more
it’s just elevator ride with max 2-3 mins pauses per floor to enjoy the view . and it’s not a memorable view . definitely skippable.
Built for the 1958 World Exhibition , the Atomium is shaped on the model of an elementary iron crystal enlarged 165 billion times. Have a beer at the restaurant in the top sphere
Take a coin as a memory. My son thought he had done it! U would understand when you see it! ????u are not allowed to enter some parts but the designers' lounge was a good idea! I suggest going there..
Space age centre piece of the 1958 World's fair . Open for tours and there is a restaurant inside that opens at 6.30pm.
If you come from the Heysel direction, drive southbound past the Atomium. Before the next roundabout is the perfect location for pictures.
Great panorama from the top of atomium. The photo feature is not worth it at all! Queue can be long due to limited capacity!do not buy combo tickt as u can view minieurope from atomium top!
An excellent viewpoint and a fascinating display of art . One escalator is quite psychedelic and the lift is said to be the fastest in Europe.
11€ to enter, crowded , massive queue to get to the top, another queue to go back down. 33cl beer is a whopping 7euros at the top restaurant . Worth a visit, just not the inside.
Unique ! What can I say ? Explore and admire this monumental representation of an iron atom. The biggest symbol of the surrealistic Belgian spirit.
Nice place symbol of Brussels to hang out or cinema . but the lights will not turn on until 21:40! Too expensive entrance15€ and for the result poor views from top better la basilique de koekelberg for
good views from the top w a very ages yet cool exhibit through part of the structure ...
Honestly-not worth its price! We also had to pay to use the toilets when buying tickets and they were disgusting. The structure is impressive but I'd save your money and just take a photo from outside!
Great to see, but beware ticket is one price & only the lift takes you to the top & any views , but there are long lines . Choose the stairs and walkways you only get half way up & there are no views .
If you can visit, good. If you can't, it's ok. All about queues: to pay, to enter, to go up and to go down. Needs to be improved. Great icon though.
You must visit this historical place when you are in Brussels ! Don't miss to take a few postcards photos.
The restaurant of the Atomium is managed by an independent restaurateur. Be sure that we make everything in order he may satisfy you and we're happy he does. Please rate the restaurant on his profile.
View from outside and the top is worth the ticket price. Mini-Europe not so good. Just but the ticket for the Atomium!
Don't spend your time and money here. The top is not that great. You're treated like cattle. There's other places in Brussels to get a good view of the city - like Parc Cinquantenaire, which is free!
A bit pricey but it's worth it, especially the panorama. Try the combined ticket (Atomium+Mini-Europe) to get the full experience.
Nice views of Brussels , interesting to see how the city has evolved. Good for photos, cool lights, stairs and escalators.
A must-see in Brussels! It's a little bit pricey to get in, but you have a great view of Brussels from the top!
Must to visit Brussels landmark . You can enter for 12 euros.
The landmark itself is worth seeing, but the inside is more of a tourist trap. Surely you get to see the city but it's not worth the 12 EUR price. The escalators are cool though
Go for a nice view and cool souvenirs. Consider not paying to go into the museus, may not be worth.
When in Brussels, you must check this place. Also good to stay and have fun and meals with family.
During daytime it's okay...but come back when night fall, it lights up and then it's really beautiful
Spectacular architecture located in a neighbourhood with nothing else going for it.
The views, for minimal $ and commitment. Free pic if you visit the restaurant - and you can just get seated at the bar seats, with perfect views of the city! (Highly recommended). - Bijoy Goswami
Nice history behind this and it changes it dress for over 700 times a year for events! Try the belgian waffles with toppings for 1 euro next to it! Lots of shops selling godviva choca as well. - Krishna Prasad
This is stunning! A saint of china right in the middle of Brussels.. - Hungry Bear
Excellent food options, and it is a big place! Just have fun! ;) - Alejo Maya
Absolutely beautiful. There are multiple free tours around the square. Great place for a meal or coffee. - Shane D
