Beautiful place, and one of my favorite places to bring the kids. The smaller birds eat right out of your hand! It's the perfect length nature hike for younger kids, with a nice beach at the end.
Go in the winter the birds are hungry and sometimes the chipmunks will also come out and eat seeds from your hands.
A beautiful nature preserve where Chickadees, Nuthatches, and Tufted Titmouse birds will eat out of your hands. A Great Day with my Best Friend
Feeding wildlife hurts them, and is illegal in a National Wildlife Refuge to boot! Please let them be wild.
I'm not a huge birdwatcher , but the park itself is pretty. The path goes out to a beach .
Quite possible one of the most beautiful places on Long Island .
