Don't take food "to go". It's much better to eat their food as fresh as possible. It loses something as you travel.
The waitress freaked out that my friend walked his friend to her car at 9pm and told everyone at the bar we were skipping on the tab even though we stayed inside waiting for him to get back. Stupid.
