Fantastic beer , even better if you have a "Mettbroetchen " with it. Yes, that's raw pork on a bread roll... but trust me it's the best food you had with any beer . Ever.

Nice atmosphere with a great location. Nice hoppy beer if that's your thing. Stop by for a drink on the street with the crowd is definitely recommended!

The place itself is quite authentic and Altbier 's definitely worth a try. Food is traditional and simple. Huge wooden beer barrels look impressive!

Your place for a nice German experience. Only cold food (some sort of German tapas ) but great beer . Probably the best of the traditional breweries .

Traditional german beer-house. Nice and old, delicious and %100 malt . Viva Reinheitsgebot.

Cozy , very authentic place. Nice snacks at daytime, especially minced pork on the bread . Unfortunately, cash only and no wi-fi (though this is not a surprise).

The small platter is for 4 or more hungry people who like German liverwurst and such.... Ordering additional food is a mistake ;)

Great although beer . Plus twice a year (third Tuesday in January and October) they serve a special brew , the sticke. Which is really good as well and worth a try.

Honestly you may or may not like altbier - lots of people find it tastes rather too sweet to even consider it a beer , of just a lady's beer . The place is interesting and really local, though.

Original Alt-Bier. At least try one.

Try the sticke on second tuesdays in feb. And oct. Also be sure to give the toiletstaff a tip to receive a free eucalyptusdrop.

The very best of the rude and arrogant staff ! They won't listen, they won't take an order, they won't communicate-that's the way it shouldn't be done even in a brewery with a "name". Average beer tbh

Beer and location are the best

Rude waiters , no cards accepted, the rule is that if you don't cover your glass they bring you another beer , which is pretty pushy. Or and glasses are very dirty , lipstick and stains on mine.
