I love smokehouses and have been to many. I have a smoker at home. The atmosphere is great, the service is spectacular, I love the divey down south atmosphere, but the food simply lacked flavour.
Not a bad spot in downtown Calgary. I was a bit shocked that the waitress recommended against BBQ at a restaurant that smells so wonderful. The poutine was thee best I ever have consumed.
Delicious BBQ . The garlic fries are to die for & they even showed WrestleMania for us. The staff was also great with dealing with a troubling patron!
BBQ here gives Texas BBQ a run for its money. The vibe is very Austin-esque, too.
The ribs were fantastic. Brisket was pretty good but not the best ever. The have PBR on tap which I thought was cool

As a construction professional you are not welcome at this place. You are not judged on character, but on what you wear to work. The dump is never busy but has good music . Owner is a pompous ass.
