Squirrel Hill Cafe

Gotta love this place. Unpretentious atmosphere , lots of beers , cheap (and good) bar food (i.e. see Squirrel Hill Club). Dinner for 2 + 2 beers was around $20 :O Smoking allowed so dress accordingly.

awesome setting, friendly atmosphere . the food is delicious and affordable . its a little salty, but you can always ask them to hold off on the seasoning. theyre cheesballs are delicious

Where else are you going to find orthodox Jews ,hipsters , college students and rich professionals like me drinking the night away.... Oh yes and have the cheeseballs.

Old school Pittsburgh. You can smoke cigarettes in there. The drinks are strong and the burgers and fries are perfectly divey. I love it.

The service is really slow, but the beer selection , the delicious food, and the low prices more than make up for it.

Food is solid and cheap , the drinks are cold and reasonable, and the crowd is fairly decent. What more could you ask?

Smoking is allowed and there is a pretty solid selection of beer .

Nicole - maybe they wont have to chase you if you leave a tip! Waitresses depend on tips for their living. Their tips ARE their paycheck.

best bar in the world. veggie burgers are amazing for some mysterious reason and get the hot cheese balls! staff is awesome!

One of the bartenders (during the day) denies service if you look young, even after presenting valid ID. Only worth going to at night.

Definitely a dark, smoky bar but good if you're looking for a bit of a dive.

Ventilation is awful and they smoke inside. You’ll smell like cigarettes even of you go back home and take a shower . ????
