Loved it! Beluga whales were awesome, touch tanks include sharks!, sea lion show was great, loved the variety. Best aquarium I've been to :) worth the ticket price.
Jellyfish exhibit is pretty awesome. This is a indoor/outdoor Aquarium . Free parking and right across from Olde Mystic Village and the Hilton. Free parking .
Great atmosphere, amazing fish , and employees who are truly passionate about their jobs. The sea lion show was especially informative and entertaining
The staff are super friendly and knowledge about the animals. I'm not a fan of aquariums , but they are "humane certified" here. Great views of animals.
If you come often definitely get a membership. It pays for itself in two visits. My kids and I see the movie every time we come.
The main and best attraction their are the Beluga Whales ! Their just beautiful. After that the place just fell short of expectations. Weirdly enough Camden Aquarium in NJ is way better.
The exhibits here are cool, but there isn't much to see when you go in the winter (duh). But I still got to see some beluga whales and sea lions and some really cool jellyfish .
The Beluga Whale display was so captivating. The kids enjoyed feeding the rays and petting the sharks.
The Mystic Aquarium in Ct is a modest facility which caters to youths compared to the more adolescent attraction of Sea World's marine zoological park in Orlando Florida.
A bit pricey for the size of the aquarium and quality of the exhibits . However it's really family-friendly, kids have fun. Belugas are great.
Great for kids and touch tank and dinosaurs . buy tickets online for discounts . 2 of the workers were extremely rude to anyone esp kids. Shouts and basically rush us out when no one was there.
Great aquarium . Loved the 4d movie . Amazing encounter experience
I had always heard this was the preeminent aquarium in the country . Therefore, I felt disappointed that it wasn't larger or as exciting as I had hoped. It's still fun and educational , though.
Great local aquarium . I recommend a membership if you go regularly. Tons of colorful fish and aquatic life!
A great place for a family adventure exploring all the different animals on site.
The old XD ride fit with the "challenge of the deep" theme. You explored the ocean in search of a giant squid . The current one barely has anything to do with an aquarium ! Save your $3!
Such a great place for all ages! Kinda expensive but so worth it.
Can see amazing beluga whales as soon as you enter.
Great place for kids!! Hands-on exhibits more than New England Aquarium Boston
Be sure to catch the 9:30 or 1:30 penguin feedings! It's the best time to see the penguins in the Penguin Pavilion. If it is below 25, they will probably be in the Penguin Discovery Zone.
Great aquarium ! Don't miss the beluga whales !
Make a day of it in Mystic! Visit the MAC to see our impressive art collection , and learn about all of our art classes (adults & children) and events . Read more
Love the stingray exhibit , only $3 to feed them!
Loveeeee this place. The sea lion show is a must. Beautiful Belugas !
Your full price adult ticket is good for 2 extra days of return visits. Kids under 3 are free.
Admission is kind of pricey considering that you have to pay again for a lot of the exhibits . Overall nice aquarium . Coney Island aquarium in NYC is better though. No dolphin show here.
If you are into deep sea exploration, check out the Nautilus Live show. Starting soon they will talk directly to the ship and answer audience questions!
Kids loved the jellies . The Rio. 4d was kind of a bust, esp. For the extra cost.
Don't be afraid to go on a rainy day - almost everything is covered, you won't get that wet, and it might even feel like you have the whole place to yourselves
You can tell sea lions from seals by their front flippers. Seals are stubby and can't balance on them.
My daughter now loves beluga whales . Perfect day trip for parents and kids.
The beluga whales love photobombing photos!
Staying for the beluga feeding is worth it. The penguin exhibit is too small but everything else was really exciting!
A bit costly for the size of the Aquarium , but fun for all ages.
A great place, even if you're not usually into sea animals.
Pricey admission, but you get a 15% discount if you buy tickets in advance online.
Ocean Planet Pavilion: The crown-like glass awning was designed by famed international architect, Cesar Pelli...
Buy the family membership. It pays for itself in under two visits!!!
Buy the admission to the walk thru aviary! It's great!
A membership pays for itself in two visits plus all the discounts !
Nice place to kill a few hours, love the Penguins & Beluga Whales .
Two favorites: Jellyfish and Japanese Spider Crabs
Kind of pricey for such a small aquarium . Needs a bigger discount or more to do
Nice sea lions show
You can bring in your own food for lunch !
Birds of the Outback is worth the $3 admission. Kids will live feeding the birds,
More kid oriented and make sure to BRI g outdoor gear as it is half aquarium half zoo
Juno was amazing!
One of the nicest aquariums I know.
Look for free or reduced admission to the aquarium at your local library
