Drinks are excellent. Happy hour pricing is phenomenal. Took 29 minutes from placing a drink order to get the drinks, though. This is unacceptable by restaurant service standards.
Everything is good. That is all.. Staff is very knowledgeable . Good for after work, date night , or hanging out with friends. And I LOVE their music . Eclectic and smooth.
Outstanding juleps. Happy hour pricing is a great deal. The hush puppies are really good. Service is on point when it isn't busy.
The Creole Crusta cocktail is amazing. I typically hate anything with rum because it's too sweet for me, but this was perfectly balanced & spicy . Reminds me of that spicy gin drink at Anvil.
Must try the Mint Julep , but be prepared for the bourbon , it's forward! Creole Crusta is VERY good - red pepper zing is subtle, meshes well with citrus flavor. Go Truth & Slant if you like chocolate !
Excellent bar !! Very charming and romantic !! Definitely we come back! We orden Gin Gin Mule and Julep, delicious!!
Now this is my vibe. Austinites can compare this to the Roosevelt room. Similar atmosphere, excellent cocktails , very knowledgeable bar staff . 11 out of 10.
Best Ramos Gin Fizz I've had yet! Get an order of hush puppies and oysters - you won't regret it.
Try the Mint Julep of course. The Truth & Slant is also quite good. The selection of bourbon is top notch.
Mint juleps are delicious and strong. The classic Hurricane is always a good choice too. I wanted to try everything on the menu...
Their namesake cocktail is pretty good! Their hush puppies appetizer hits the spot as well if you're in the mood for a snack .
Best happy hour in the city ! Absolutely love the cocktails and the bartenders .
Casual southern charm. Outdoor seating . Large selection of creative juleps. Oyster specials, smoked fish spread ????????. ????
Cocktails are clever and unique. No beers and bare minimum wine selection though - that might be an issue if you want to attract a broader demographic
Great bourbon drinks, especially the Juleps. Nice selection of cold seafood to go along with your drink.
A great place for cocktails in Houston , they make great drinks!
When in Rome... get the Julep. I prefer my Julep to be Sparkling. Oysters always on point.
Have a Rail to Satsuma! Delicious savory gin drink with just enough sweet.
Love the atmosphere and the music . Cock N' Bull is delightful, along with the Buffalo Bayou More Cowbell.
Malachi is the best Bar tender ever!
The Mint Julep is amazing. Great Old Fashioneds , too.
Great place for nice cocktails and seafood appetizers .
Cherry Bounce Sour is excellent.
Pappy Van Winkle in the Bourbon collection and James Brown playing! My new fav bar .
This place is classy , great for girls night or date night !
Great Kentucky Derby party! Only complaint is they only had 1 TV .
Love the atmosphere:-) drinks are great
This should hands down be the #1 place for cocktails in Houston ...
Get here early it normally gets full.Drinks are real good and pricey
The food is very good, but it's pricey for the amount that you get.
Good service but the drinks were not out of the ordinary. I would consider returning and trying their outdoor seating .
