This popular playground is located in the Oakland Community. The park features tennis courts, basketball courts, two baseball diamonds and a quarter mile running/walking track and picnic areas and comfort station. Infant and youth swings, a playground, benches and, green space.

We want to hear from you! Please join us for a public meeting on 12/5 from 6:30-8p at Mandrake Park, 3858 S Cottage Grove to discuss lakefront improvements in Burnham Park between 45th & 51st Streets.
If you are biking from the lakefront to Hyde Park at night, it is not advisable to shortcut south from Oakwood through Lake Park or Ellis. Drexel or Cottage Grove are ok.
