Looking for a nice spot to do cardio ? The front staircase is perfect (about 100 steps each way)!
There is a restaurant conceirge service located in front of Hall C. They can help you with making reservations or answer any questions about the local restaurants in Gaslamp Quarter or beyond!
Did you know there are twoStarbucks located in the Convention Center ? You can find them in front of Hall A and Hall E. Check to see if they are open and enjoy your latte !
This place is such a beautiful venue for a conference . The view of the ocean is incredible and the yachts make it even better.
Nice convention center that is easily navigable. Only wish there were more internal food options and that the center focused more on the water just outside.
Went for the International Car Show. Great way to kill a few hours and shop every local type of car in one stop, and see some fancy old ones.
Check out the pigeon on the upper level. He's just walking around, enjoying life. I hope he's still there and hasn't gone to pigetopia. Stay strong, lil pidgey!!
The convention center needs to install more benches/seating all around the convention center . They are WAY behind every other convention center I have been to in public seating.
Great place for every size meeting located in an area filled with interesting places to shop and eat.
We come here every year and we love it.
Perfect location! Served very well ! Book in advance if you are coming over for something down here! ????
Awesome place, excellent facilities!!! It counts with an incredible bayview...
Bright . Tons of natural light one of the best located conventions centers anywhere.
Beautiful views , amazing customer service on sight, and all around lovely facility
Was here for CEDIA 2017 and was completely impressed by how big it is and how nice and kind the staff is.
When there's a big convention , it can be tough getting a seat for lunch . Plan to eat at off-times like 11am or 2pm and you'll have a much easier time.
This place is huge! Grab a coffee and a protein-packed snack to help you navigate. Then refuel with fish tacos at Tin Fish , just across the street.

Northern facing stairs by the exterior 'elevator ' the best stair workout in town . Great views at the top and bring your camera !
Grateful that concessions choices during #ALA2024 included some salads , even if pricey
The upstairs washrooms are less gross
San Diego Convention Center has been my mecca for almost 2 decades. But with the large influx of people... perhaps ARTERY style quick pace LANES ought to be created for traffic to flow better. Read more
Sdcc 2013, arrive by 3am in order to get in line for events .
Walking up and down the stairs is a great way to get some exercise.
If you walk backwards ib the lobby from halls c-d and look up you'll see a hidden painting of mark Terry catching a giant hallibut
There are 100 steps on the harbor drive side and 112 steps on the back stairs and I wanted to puke on every single stair.
Nice view , nice climate inside, but needs an urgent fumigation as I was able to spot many cockroaches
By the sea port . No many eating óptions but close to many restaurants . Amicable convention áreas.
The 36th Republican presidential nominating convention was held August 12–15, 1996 at the San Diego Convention Center. Kansas Senator Robert J. Dole was nominated for president.
