The Maine Event combo gets you a lobster grilled cheese and a clam chowder . Then find a bench in Bryant Park because there's no way you're heading back to work without a nap.
The lobster roll , small but amazing. The roll is adequately buttery, the lobster fresh coated with aioli and a pinch of old bay !
Great lobster roll options, but obviously the Maine style is the best. Plus, the fact that you can get a roll, chips , and a drink for $20 is practically a steal
The Connecticut roll is tops however I remember having this style in Maine as well as the mayonnaise one. The temperature enhances the natural flavor. Butter on the side would be a nice add on!
You will not be dissapoint with Lobster mac & cheese . The chunk of fresh lobster in BLT will make you cry. Cuz it's so good.
The Maine-style roll is lathered with homemade mayo ; the Connecticut-style is tangy and delicious with butter. (It's hard to choose.) Make sure to try one of the super-sweet whoopie pies , too.
Awesome lobster roll , get out of the comfort zone and get yourself a Tuscan , the mix lobster + pesto is a win! Seriously good!
Combos! You will get a incredible lunch , for a price that seems fair , given you are eating seafood .
The Maine style lobster roll is superior to the Connecticut style, and I like the shrimp roll too. The Tuscan is always sold out, it seems.
Red Hook Lobster Pound Truck will be rollin' to the Village Voice's Choice Streets food truck tasting event on 4/24 at Pier 86 / The Intrepid! More info here: http://ow.ly/9M1oK
Oysters are excellent, and they have Peak Organic beer on tap
The warm Connecticut style lobster roll is my favorite in the city . What's great is they've at most every flea market and food truck rally so they're pretty easy to catch. Read more
Really like the lobster roll "Maine style ." Be sure to "hook it up" andtry the pickles and cole slaw
Caught the Red Hook truck in Kips Bay - awesome Connecticut Style Lobster Roll with chips for Lunch - makes you feel like the weekend is almost here.
Sweet mamma Jackson, the lobster roll is good (don't look at the price and get 2). Someday this truck and Luke's truck should park on the same street and settle it once and for all.
I got lobster roll twice!! It's a m a z i n g!! I wish they serve sliced lemon with it, it would enhance the flavor ????
2oz Lobster BLT was the perfect amount of lobster and thick bacon to satisfy me without breaking the bank .
There is nothing tastier than this. Get a Connecticut roll, a blueberry soda and some salt & vinegar chips , and mentally prepare for the best lunch ever.
Toasted buns add a nice touch to the classic roll. Good balance of lobster to mayo .
Don't miss out on the Lobster sandwiches !
Village Voice is excited to have Red Hook Lobster Pound at the 2012 Choice Eats food fest! Full list of restaurants here: http://ow.ly/8QjDQ
Worth every penny! Connecticut-style is the only way to go - though they should grill the bun in butter instead of just toasting it. Otherwise, perfection!!!
I tried the warm, buttery Connecticut roll. I'll be going back to the Maine roll on future visits.
Pricey , but the lobster BLT is unforgettable. Lobster+Bacon! The bun is crunchy to perfection and the butter makes it better.
If you see the truck anywhere nearby, run and treat yourself to a classic Maine lobster roll ...perfectly toasted bun topped with whole chunks of succulent lobster
Oyster happy hour mon-fri, 4-6pm & sat-sun , 11a-5p
I always go with the Connecticut style because what's better with lobster than buttery goodness? It pricey but then again luxury aint cheap baby! Read more
The Connecticut style is delish! Warm butter and green onion . Perfect.
OK, the lobster rolls are a little pricey . But it’s just not summer in the city without one. Read more
the maine-style lobster roll is the only option you need. it tastes even better if you get a whoopie pie , too.
The Conneticut Lobster Roll is worth every penny. Don't pass by this truck !
Get the Connecticut Lobster Roll !! So good!!!
Lobster rolls are great, but don't overlook the shrimp rolls . Cheaper and really delicious.
Love the warm buttery Connecticut Roll. Nom.
Order a lobster roll from here.
Tastes good but wish it was a bigger portion
Best lobster I've ever had.
I prefer the Maine lobster roll over the CT one, which didn't have much to offer except butter/lobster/bread.
I tried the Lobster roll and it was fantastic
Dependable good lobster roll .
Spending $19 for lunch at a food truck is an expensive way of learning you don't like lobster rolls . Maine style was good, but I just expected more for $19...
They carry Robicelli's whoopie pie for dessert . Pretty darn tasty ...
Lots of lobsterrrrrr. Nice pickle too.
Prices too high for the small portions..potato salad came in a small sauce container and new england clam chowder is watery.
Line : unnecessarily long (they're not cooking anything). Ordering process: haphazard. $3 soda : warm, yuck. Price: too damn high. Only saving grace was that at least the lobster roll was good.
Absolutely THE best lobster roll !
Maine style is the way to go.
Connecticut style is the way to go
Good amount of lobster . Didn't feel cheated.
This is an Eritrean-Ethiopian food truck. They’re super friendly & food is flavorful! Get the injera with chicken (or beef) tibs & misir (lentil stew). Order the sega wot (beef) or doro wot (chicken) - Kimmie Ohh
The lamb is great here, both in the gyro or the mixed platter. Make sure to try the green sauce too. - Racky Ross
So good! Flapjack/hot cake cookie with chicken and waffles ice cream! - Terri R
Beautiful respite from a New York day. Plenty of seating, free table tennis, and nearby vendors. - John Gardiner IV
