Perfectly executed Greek concept. Everything from design, food and service was excellent. We had shrimp tails, grilled calamari and Greek salad , but all fish and seafood dishes looked great.
Absolutely loved this place. My bf and I split a Greek salad , I had the baked shrimp and spicy rice and he had the chicken gyros . Everything was amazing including the staff !
Great place! Tasty big portion , the service is very fast, all our dinner costed 14000 huf, not cheap but really delicious. Cozy and modern-equipped WC. Compliment dishes and a rose for ladies:)
With huge appetite only and don't order too much, 'cause portions are really big! Their salads look lovely and unique with meat or fish or cheese and sooooo goddess! <3
Nice decoration (so much alike Santorini), good service , tasty shrimp + spicy rice . The green salad was so so. Beautiful lady’s room ! Will go back again for sure.
Dionysos is in my opinion one of the best Greek restaurants in Budpaest. The prices are a bit a bove avarage, but the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the place is excellent.
I personally think this is one of the best restaurants in Budapest . Eating here feels like a family visit. Try the Tzatziki and keep it with you during the entire meal.
Dionysos Taverna moved a piece of Greece to the Pest bank of the Danube: Greek style with white walls and blue ceilings, and you can order any Greek dish from soups through salads to fish .
Absolutely great place! The service is fantastic, food is delicious, nice music and the atmosphere - you do feel welcomed here. Highly recommended in Budapest.
Incredible food!! One of the best Greek restaurants I never been. The staff is really gentle and the waiters good professional I suggest the lamb . Good good good
Very trendy and delicious greek restaurant , and a great turkish server welcoming you, prices are quite expensive , i recommend you to try most of the appetizers more than main course meal.
Amazing service and ambient. A bit loud during evenings. I'm hesitant to eat seafood in landlocked countries but this was delicious. We sat in front of the kitchen watching them prepare our food.
Everything is good. Fish dishes were excellent and soups as well . Friendly waiters , good atmosphere. They hve been serving this HQ for more than 20 years.
Delicious big portions ! Mussels is served with very tasty sauce. Calamari is served with yogurt tartar salad . All the dinner costed 14000 huf.
Amazingly good and authentic greek cuisine , friendly staff and nice atmosphere. If you like greek food , you must visit this place! Read more
Great food and service in general. The food are well portioned and can take time to come. We loved the wine we had and would go back here.
Food was amazing! Gyros was so good and really big portion . Would recommend the tzatziki and the homemade bread . Magnus wine is nice too
Superb and kind service , delicious dishes, authentic yet modern environment. A bit pricy and loud though, but definitely recommended!
Lentil soup could have been richer in flavours, but lamb soup was outstanding, with good quality meat. Lamb chop and chicken for gyros were fresh, well cooked, and with great flavours.
Incredible salmon ! Best I have ever had. Apparently its necessary to reserve a table, so call ahead otherwise the service is going to complain a bit. That aside: Incredible food with affordable prices
Missing the great Greek service!!! Take seafood at the sea not here! Ouzo is coming as a house ouzo but selling as branded.... Missing Greek hospitality ....
Bit costy, but awesome products and healthy staff ... I ate cold mix typical appetizers and seafood mix , with buttered veggies . Yummy!!!
Deliciously dream worthy - the langoustine pasta and the garlic shrimps on rice are plates that I will crave for a long time. My favorite restaurant in Budapest .
Great design and atmosphere. Greek quality on european prices. I wouldn't say it's so special, but we had a great evening!
Try kotosoupa (chiken soup ) and "a variety of cold starters " :-) my favorites! As desert , if you like chocolate , try "Gliko tou Andreas": vanilia ice and fresh banana in hot chocolate w sour cherry !
Compliment from the restaurant during your whole meal! Really delicious food cooked with soul! Very friendly personnel , very keen and attentive service ! Highly recommended!
Dolmades is A MUST❤, kotopoulo was delicious, Brizola moshari was AMAZING, zimáriko contained too much garlic unfortunately, very professional service ????
Unique interior, great atmosphere, food is really really good. Lots of nice little touches throughout our experience including being presented with a rose upon leaving.
i love greek food , this is a worst place ever if you like it too:) don’t go, friendly advise. meat is good but OVERpriced you can have it better and cheaper.
The lady who receives the people .. needs communication skills courses ....she is a person who would let people wont come back here
Excelent food! The quality of the plates it's impressive! The staff has an unique and kind way of understanding and satisfiyng the needs of their clients!
WHY THERE: Greek cuisine . STUFF: Mediterranean as it is. STAFF : typical restaurant 's. LOCATION: close to mainstream (convenient). PRICES: higher average (reasonable)
Simply excellent and definitely among the n'est Mediterranean restaurants I've had! Service is nice and careful. Go for the seafood . Do.
Best hummus I’ve ever had... paired with the sweetest service I’ve ever seen. Definitely a must-go when you are in Budapest.
everything was sooo great especially the octopus ???????????????? great service and friendly staff . but the food took forever to come to the table.
Amazing. You get a rose as you leave. The bathroom is super clean and high tech. Moussaka was delicious. Expensive, but worth it.
The Bougiourdi was fantastic! In general I was very impressed with the vegetarian options . The atomsphere is lovely and the service is good.
The waitresses are nice, the food is fantastic (you should try the cold fruit soup )! I can recommend it to every one!:)
It's an amazing place! Extremely tasty food, very good service , prices are good (especially if compare to touristic places)
Everything. Awesome food, great service, Greek interiors. Perfect!
Still my favorite restaurant in Budapest . The starter selection plate with warm pita & a glass of Retsina - all time best! :)
The best greek food in town ! Enjoy the beautiful sight of budapest! ????????
Nice place with typical Greek atmosfere. Rich offer. I have tried shrimp souvlaki with green salad . It was good, but little bit expensive .
If you're missing Greece , this is your go-to spot. It feels and tastes like Greece . It may sound weird, but don't miss the bathrooms !.
Nice place, the service is really fast & food is awesome, highly recommended :)
Excellent service , excellent food!! One of the best in Budapest.
Delicious souvlaki&Afrodita salad ! Very nice enviroment, summer style, pleasant!
Great food, great service and hospitality . Very clean and lovely ambiance. I highly recommend.
They specialise in home delivery but for real experience, dine in. The gyros is made from chicken here, and is served in a pita with tzatziki , salad , and vegetables .
Beautiful interior design -- tasty wine -- delicious food. Another wonderful evening at Taverna Dionysos
