Rare Bar & Grill Lexington

One of the best under-the-radar rooftop bars in the city . If you're coming for food, get the M&M burger and the french fry tasting basket, otherwise head up to the roof to take in the great view .

Fabulous New York Strip steak 18oz of beautifully cooked meat - just what I was looking for. The staff great and very friendly and we met new friends we then went on to The Flat Iron Rooms with!!

Rare is a solid burger spot. I've had the M&M burger , which is amazing! It's the Rare classic flambeed in whiskey topped with cheddar cheese and caramelized onions . Oh man, I think about it often

Oh my word! The view from the rooftop is absolutely amazing! Front row seats to seeing the Empire State Building . It's so close that maybe you won't even notice it because it's literally in your face!

The view is spectacular. It didn't take long to get in and there was plenty of seating for my large group. Perfect place for a large gathering!

Beautiful views of the city , a great staff & tons of rooftop seating! Good place to go after work or for a weekend splurge. The drinks are tasty but expensive .

Great juicy burgers - can't go wrong with nearly any of them. Haberño margarita is great if you like a little kick. Frickle was overrated

Drinks were pricy but good. Colorful decor and nice view . Entrance for non guests of the hotel is around the corner on 37th, go up the long ramp.

Big rooftop with reasonable drink prices. $10 red wine and views of the Empire State and Chrysler building as well as the East River .

You can never go wrong with the classic M&M burger with Parmesan Truffle fries . Or if you want MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, try my favorite Filet Mignon burger !

Even if you don't feel like having one of their massive burgers , their Cobb salad , brisket quesadilla , and truffle fries are delicious!

The lamb burger and mediterranean salad is the best. Delicious balance w/ their special sauce . Two pickles to top it off.

Gorgeous view . Drink prices are what you'd expect from a place like this but don't waste your money on the sangria...more like fruit juice with no booze. Other drinks we tried were great.

The Jameson Burger is awesome, and the shot that comes with it for an extra $5 is a no brainer.

The steaks her are delicious ...maybe the other people got their steaks well done and couldn't enjoy the juiciness of the steaks . I would def come here again

This burger is quite large and meaty so not a good option if you like smaller burgers . Try the sliders instead. The French Fry Tasting basket is worth a try.

Great views , good drinks, but no food. The grill downstairs is awesome, though. Try the "Sexy Sexy" drink, it's yummy yummy.

Got here around 12:15 with 45 minutes til close on a Saturday. Was almost empty which was nice. Got a Sam Summer for $9...but I guess you're paying for the spectacular views of the Chrysler and empire

They have the best waffle "cottage" fries , and burgers . If it's nice out go up on the roof for a drink afterward and enjoy a nice view of the Chrysler building and Empire State building .

Beer is expensive but great view of the city

Oh man not my crowd at all. Business attire. Drinks are crazy over priced ($9 for Bud Light , $16 for small cocktails , etc). BUT a great view of the city from this rooftop = post-date drinks.

If you are a hotel guest just take the regular hotel elevator up to the 16th floor and be ready to show your room key to security.
