Landmark Tavern

One of the few - if not the only bar in downtown to serve Chimay. Try a bottle! It's - basically - the best beer around, dark and rich and Belgian and full of alcohol .

Great place for a drink with some friends or on a date. Friendly , excellent bartenders and a nice patio area . Only complaint is that sometimes the music is inexplicably loud .

Chico is the BEST bartender . He only works the day shift but is really good at whipping up drinks to surprise you if you don't know what you want.

Best people watching , meeting, and talking place in Raleigh... As long as you're somewhat weird but mostly cool. Not for slicksters.
