The short rib is the best I've ever had. Perfectly grilled, amazing flavor. There's great Chardonnay in pineapple and passionfruit flavors, and the place is super casual vibe and classic Santa Cruz.
If you're really hungry make sure to get the combo Kalua Pig , Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu with Macaroni Salad , White Rice and Side Salad w/ Sesame Dressing .
Loco moco , spam musubi , and a pint of beer . Best Hawaiian food anywhere in the Bay Area/Santa Cruz.
I love the Loco moco , chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken . With some macaroni salad .
Usually I don't like Mac Salad , but here it's super delicious. And their juice is the best!
Two plate combo could never go wrong!! Teriyaki chicken & beef delicious!!!

The kalua is delicious!
Be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes for your food to arrive. It's good once it gets there, but I can't help but think things could be done more expeditiously.
Took Levi out kayaking , and now eating some Hawaii food ????
And what's super cool is you get a whole brick of masubi...not just a couple pieces. Awesome

Good was not good... First they gave us an uncooked lau-lau, then took another 15-20 to give us a cooked one that upon inspection was obviously previously frozen and gross. Very disappointing.
