My favorite stadium in Melbourne. Went to two cricket matches on my trip. Second level has some nice indoor bars to visit behind the seats when you want a break and a drink.
A classic sports venue, hosting a variety of events . The sort of place where attending a football or cricket match is a pilgrimage, not just viewing a game.
If you love sports , this is the place to be. Watch a game of footy if you are in Melbourne during winter.
Australia's greatest landmark , any overseas viewers, come to the National Sports Museum . Walk around the park next to the Museum
My first time to the G and my first AFL game - it was fun. Great view and I was at the very back row up in the stands.. I'd go again if I was in town ..
Home of the AFL Grand Final and the famous Boxing Day Test for the Australian cricket team. One of the great sporting stadiums of the world. Tours available everyday.
Do make sure to put on something warm; it gets quite chilly later in the night. Grab some pies or chips along with a warm drink to avoid getting too cold.
Great venue!! Best in the world in fact, overpriced food but worth it for the experience
It’s a great ground to watch sport at if it’s on a round field like cricket or AFL!
Although a bit of an effort to get to (especially when one is not as young) the view is great! Well worth the effort.

if there are no matches that day just take the tour , it is entertaining and educational
Parking has been a bit of an issue recently, also security gates due to staffing issues. Get in early to avoid the crowds.
Must see in Melbourne, love the atmosphere at a footy game and there's no oval quite like it!
Get to a Sheffield Shield game or the Ryobi Cup in summer. Get the ground to yourself, and watch the cricket in peace . Great way to wyle away the summer hours.
The tour of the MCG is a must. It was unforgettable.
This us a lovely spot to spend a holiday whenever the English happen to be spanking the sweet beJesus out of the Aussies. Strongly recommend the dish of Revenge served long sweet & slow
One of the great places on the planet. See the footy, let the crowd's passion sweep you away .
