If you park in the residential streets up magnolia or brookhurst you can beat the $15 parking fee . Same thing goes for north of main st... Park on the numbered streets and you don't have to pay
We were here but now we are back in Tucson, we had a wonderful time at this beach , my hubby was loving the waves, we definitely will be going back when we have more time
Delightful beach with plenty of fire pits . Get there early if you want one for a bonfire in the evening.
Don't make you fire too large or with stinky wood. It blows inland and covers our house with ashes and smells bad. Thank you.
Park on Brookhurst above Bushard for a free spot and a fat beach with pits, v-ball and tables.
Park closes at 10pm. Come around 8:30 to 9pm if you want bonfire during weekend; otherwise you will need to come around 8am.
I work here it's $15 mag and beach blvd entrance are most crowded brookhurst is less crowded . After summer only mag is open! Summer weekend fire pits are gone by 8 am!
If one could share the endless horizon of blue sky and hope with someone who needed it, they might still be alive today. #suicide #prevention

In order to get a fire pit , you have to get here early in the morning.. Like 9am!
My favorite beach !!! Large beautiful sand area and plenty pay parking !
Lots of space to spread out on the beach .
It will cost you $15 to park here, for EACH state beach you go to is $15. :( Booooooooooooooooooo. Look closely and you can see dolphins and seals come really close to you. :) LIKE
Mags is a great surf spot ! Mostly short boards!
Make sure to check the wind advisory before you throw a bonfire .
Good spot to catch your breath, drink water and relax.
the bike rental shops along the beach will let you put air in your bike tires for free.
Avoid the parking fees and find a spot on the street off Brookhurst (also less crowded )
Walk the beach early. The breeze and fresh air will make it worthwhile
Big waves. Soft beach . Nice temperatures. It’s ok. Not a fan of the prices.

öffentliche Toiletten sind wohl nirgendwo ein Traum, aber immerhin gibt es am Strand alles, was man so braucht
Dirty. No maintenance or clean up. California clean your state beaches! - Miss Ellie
im Winter unbesetzt, im Sommer toll, dass alle paar Meter jemand bereit steht - Dorit C
Probably my favorite park I have been to so far in all of Southern California. It’s such a large green space! Tons of benches and tables too. There was also a lot of parking in different areas. - Michael Morgan
Surf City USA! Great beach w/hundreds of people, surfers, performers & vendors. Definitely an experience that I recommend. We spent 4 hours on the beach. Weekends are crazy crowded - weekdays less so. - William Hueppauff
Leads right to the beach. Surf festival next weekend. - Shannon Wildman
