Idaten Udon

Excellent Udon dishes, good for quick lunch . The duck black pepper udon , mentaiko beef udon and classic zaru udon are good.

Offers reasonably-priced udon and various tempura (eg. pumpkin , ebi, soft-shell crab etc.) you can choose from a counter. Has other dishes including gyudon and curry rice too. Free flow of iced water.

Plain udon ($5) is chewy & nice . Better value than food court udon . Depending on what u add (eg $2.20 chicken katsu , $3.20 ebi tempura ) - price adds up. U get 2 add own condiments :)

You can enjoy yakitori from next door here. Nice place. The whole family enjoyed it.

Great variety of udon choices compared to Tamoya . But the prices of tempura choices are not impressive. Quality of food is normal, not as Japanese as it should be.

Like the general concept. Udon and meat portions are generous!

Curry udon was disappointing – expected Jap curry ; was greeted with a very local (i.e. Singaporean) flavour of curry , garnished with one curry leave .

Pretty good udon . Add plenty of condiments .

If you have been to Tamoya Udon before, this place is going to disappoint you.

Tasty, but broth is a little too salty.
