Try the Bru coffee , my fav. And if you want to have lesser amount of tea/coffee use the term "kutting " which means half glass.
Monday ask for mutton dum Biriyani . Friday ask for chicken dum Biriyani . There are specific days for special biriyanis . Cheers!
One of the last shophouse eateries without pretensions in the area. Come here for good ole school briyani/prata al fresco dining.
Ripoff. For a plate of briyani with fried fish $5.50 + Vegs $2.80 + papadam $.50 + teh halia $1.20, I was charged $10. Official price of briyani with fried fish is $4 as per the print out displayed.
Gotta say the food was good though. I was very happy with the food until I saw the price I was asked to pay. It's not the amount but it's the fact that they don't follow the published price.
Tried the chicken dum briyani . Not bad. Teh tarik also not too sweet.
Strong Teh Halia . Made-to-Order meals available after 2.30 pm only.
Tried the chicken dum briyani which was decent but nothing to shout about. The fried chicken briyani appears to the more popular choice.
If you order mee goreng , check out the egg shape! I had a heart and a star shaped sunnyside up! Great eggspectations!
They serve the best Chicken Bryani during lunch hours. Prata is only available for breakfast and after lunchtime (2.30pm)
Good food reasonable price
Forget the mutton .. go along with what their signboard says: Specialist In Fried Chicken Briyani
They don't serve tea (only) during lunch break.
Prata , briyani and Teh tarik
Other nice bite size snacks include curry puffs and samosas
Nice prata . Good service
Prata and teh halia
Yummy briyani ' Operating hours Weekdays 6.30am-7pm, Saturday 6.30am-5.30pm.
Nice briyani with affordable price !!
