National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

Lovely place in Gangbuk area. Wide exhibition spaces, Caffé GRANO by Sortino, Beautiful green grass and O'sulloc tea house... Five senses satisfaction. Need what else more?

Definitely come here if u like contemporary art . Even if u don't, it's still worthwhile to visit. U may become a convert! Do not miss the permanent painting collection of local Korean artists .

Surprisingly good exhibits w/ a lot huge open spaces for the installations. visited the Daelim museum afterwards which is around the corner from MMCA for more PS1 style artist that are also upcoming

$4 for entrance . Interesting exhibits . Can get a spacious locker to keep your stuff so you don't have to carry them around when you're looking around.

Great collection of contemporary Korean art , with interesting exhibitions and cheap entry. If you're here while Void is on exhibit , check out Light Chamber.

This museum always has a great rotation of temporary exhibitions - the best in the genre in Korea!

If you're not into the folksy traditional stuff next door then drop by this museum nearby for some modern and contemporary installations.

It's huge art museum which is my favourite! They also have a cafe inside(but coffee is really expensive ) and a free locker .

If you have SPC's Happy point card, they will give you 2000 krw off out of 6000 krw museum entrance fee. Quite pleasant to run into unexpected discount ;-)

국립현대미술관 서울관의 3층에는 "경복궁 마당"이라는 옥상정원이 있지요. 경복궁과 인왕산이 환하게 보이는 경치가 참 좋아요. 맑은 햇빛을 맞으며 차 한 잔하면 신선이 따로 없답니다. 그런데 아쉽게도 4/30까지만 개방된답니다. 10:00~18:00 동안 가볼 수 있는데, 12:00부터는 무료로 차도 한 잔 제공된답니다 :)

한국에 있는 미술관 중에 갤러리 아트샵을 가장 풍성하게 만들었네요. 다양한 볼거리 상품이 있어요

Me recuerda mucho al MUAC, ese es el estilo de arquitectura por dentro aunque por fuera no lo parezca. Me encantó.

깨끗하고 아름답고 훌륭한 현대미술관이었습니다.

과천 본관보다 좋군요. 자연스러운 동선 유도가 마음에 듭니다.

매달 마지막 주 수요일은 무료입장이예요. 주차도 편해요~^^

미술관 건물 중앙에 조그만 잔디밭이 있어요. 더울때도 햇빛이 안들어서 어린 아이와 놀기 좋아요.

넓고 볼거리가 많아요 주차는 맞은편 경복궁 지하 주차장을 이용하는 것도 괜찮음ㅎ

가끔 삼청동 갈때마다 주차합니다. 아이가 좀 더 커서 빨리 전시회 같이 보러가면 좋겠네요.

홍보관 2층에 500원 코인 자판기도 있고, 미술관련 책도 열람 가능합니다. 북촌 길 걸어나오면서 잠시 쉬어가는 장소로 알맞춤

입장권 있으면 1시간 주차 무료입니다. 기계 정산기에서는 할인 안 되므로 나갈 때 출구 정산해야 해요.

전기차는지하3층에 전용주차공간이있고 충전기도 급속, 완속 다 있음/주차요금50%할인

제법 넓고 볼것도 많지만 미술에 대한 이해나 식견이 없다면 다리 아픈 곳.
