Palace of Justice

Beautiful big palace with a wonderful view over the city ! Spend some time in the cute quarter Marolles afterwards.

Built in the late 19th century by architect Joseph Poelart , it's the biggest courthouse in the world. With a total ground surface of 26000m², it's bigger than St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

There is also a monumenr dedicated to the sacrifice of the soldiers who fought in the world war next to it. Also a good view of the city can bw found here.

During the courthouse 's construction , inhabitants of the Marollen quarter, many of which had to leave their houses, called chief architect Poelaert the "skieven architect" (crooked architect ) instead.

Amazing building to walk around - the scale is really impressive. Great for some minimalist architecture pictures (once they remove the scaffolding ).

Absolutely amazing! So much history in this building. Must go see. C'est incroyable! Free to wander around inside and out.

Even if you don't have to be here, just go inside to enjoy this beautiful, absurd building. It's free! Try to find the extreme long staircase going down, amazing.

The BIGGEST law courts in the whole world. Look and get stunned. Maybe one day, people of Brussels will see it without the scaffoldings on its dome !

Great panorama of the city .

The building in brutal and oppressive, and kinda of ugly in places, but its hard to understand why the building is in disrepair, graffiti and rubbish everywhere, pieces chipped off statues , weeds...

The views are amazing and surprising.

As much of volume above than below. Designed by the "schieve architekt" (crooked architect ) Joseph Poelaerts . Worth the visit inside.

It is really difficult find anything if you are foreigner ... after 2 houre of search for "legislation hall" finally found it on diffrent floor and different door.

Toujours en cours de restauration depuis ma naissance ... c'est dire! Sinon ça vaut la peine d'y entrer pour son architecture monumentale. Bâtiment en ruines malheureusement!

Si vous avez l'opportunité d'entrer en ces lieux, prenez le temp de visiter ce lieux magique où l'on peut rendre a césar ce qui est a césar . Jusqu'à ce que soudain un "plouf" majestueux résonna. :)

Дворец правосудия. Дворец стоит на логичном для правосудия месте – бывшем Холме висельников, где во времена Средневековья казнили преступников.

Дворец выглядит потасканным, не зря начали реконструкцию. Здесь же есть обзорная площадка , с которой видно весь город , можно даже Атомиум разглядеть.

Çok güzel bir adalet binası. Şehrin en güzel noktasında. Saraya giden yol üzerinde.

Красивая архитектура здания. С верхних этажей открывается прекрасный вид на город .

Soyez patient au greffe, on pense à s'occuper de vous, on vous regarde... On regarde ses collègues... Puis... Puis... Puis... On s'occupe de vous, et la tronche d'enterrement est de circonstance ;-)

Ok, tu trouves que ce batiment est bizarre... il ne tient que par ses echaffaudages ! maintenant si tu lui tournes le dos tu verras la plus belle vue de Bruxelles, et prends cet ascenseur surprise...

Plus vaste que la Basilique Saint-Pierre à Rome, le Palais de Justice domine Bruxelles. Il est l'œuvre de l'architecte Joseph Poelaert.

De tous les postes pourris pour INT en 7-17 je conseille la 1.5 ! C'est nul de surveiller un couloir mais au moins t'es avec TON collègue.

Un conseil !? Bah laisse ton collègue aller à ta place , ça t'évitera de t'énerver en début de journée!
