I have recently been brought up short here on being told that they can only serve liver or hamburgers 'well-done' as the consequence of new health regulations. This renders then practically uneatable,
Try the English asparagus with lemon mayonnaise and a duck egg . Seriously good!

Fantastic food but the wait between ordering and being served can be quite long. This is eased by the great selection of wines, ales, ciders or beers on offer. Lovely views over the river - Catherine Miller
