This pub has a range of interesting events on including great Happy Mondays comedy nights. Sweet potato chips are delicious as well as massive. Kimchi hot wings good too.

Kitchen has changed yet again. Good food but beware, £4 fries/sweet potato fries are MASSIVE, definitely big enough to share!

Cool staff and cheap beer . Went there for a free live concert and had a really good time

Good venue for music . Good old school vibe and atmosphere.

Really busy at the weekends - dj in front and back bars - outdoor area out the back.

Nice burgers and a good meal deal . Friday nights are good- free entry and red stripe only 3£!

Awesome venue for live music , friendly staff , manager Andy is fab and the pies are incredible!

Excellent Sunday roasts - £8 for a mountain of food, plus a deep fried Mars Bar to follow for £2.50 (if you're still hungry - I wasn't!)

Meantime on tap . Less crowded than marquis of granby which is a few doors down

Amazing Sunday Roast and friendly people.

Was a regular for 9 yrs but since becoming a wheelchair user I've had hassle with a doorguy twice, verbally abused by him & almost refused entry. So much for a 'disabled friendly ' pub . Disgraceful.

Loud music , lots of art students, plenty of character and...a Scrabble board. Perhaps trying to tick too many boxes, but a damn fun place all round.

Absolutely horrible door policy. Disrespectful bouncers who insisted on rifling through my wallet and pockets to get into a pub on a Monday night.
