A Sacramento pizza institution, Zelda's has been serving Chicago style deep dish pan pizza for 35 years. Our establishment is small, and sometimes quite busy, so we ask that you please phone in your orders at least 30 minutes ahead. On busy nights, the wait for pizza will take longer.

I hope Zelda's NEVER changes! This is what a pizza parlor should look and feel like, and how it should smell...everything is perfect! I seriously feel like a kid again walking into a place like this.
Yes, it does take almost an hour for your pizza to bake. But the wait is SO worth it. Best deep dish I've ever had. You can't go wrong with a simple pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of beer
really great pies, esp the new spinach . if, however, u r seated next 2 drunken manner-less diners who like 2 shout across the tables, probably best 2 get it 2 go. acoustics here aren't the best.
Tonight was my first time eating at Zelda's and I had heard good things about it...BUT when I finally got to try the pizza I was not impressed, your best bet would be Chicago Fire fire for good pizza .
No windows, no problem! Lose track of time in this place with strong cocktails and great pizza . This place IS Sacramento.
In addition to pizzas to go, you can also order partially-baked (finish in your oven) as well as frozen pizzas , according to their sign. Combo was as delicious as usual.
Call ahead and they put your order in early. And try the combo, it's the best one!
Old dive bar feel in there. The pizza is awesome!
Sit down at the bar and chat with the bar tender. They are always really friendly .
Order at least 45 minutes to an hour ahead of time. Fantastic Pizza . Don't expect Round Table or Pizza Hut.
For salads , ask for salad dressing on side unless you like soup salad !
Call ahead. Give them 30 minutes before you show up.
I like it simple. Give me a cheese pizza any day.
Eat here and then become disappointed at every other pizza place thereafter. Fact.
Super good!!!
The deep dish pizza is some of the best, but the sauce tastes like spaghetti sauce .
Deep dish pizza
$8.50 for a full carafe of wine

Not a fan... Go to Vito's instead... I'm still searching for the best Sacramento deep dish ...
Zelda's rocks, order the pesto
Wait an hour for a mediocre pizza . OVER. RATED.
Great pizza, good selection of other foods and beverages. Great location. Definitely a midtown must-visit. - John Jaramillo
Oh My God. Favorite pizza place for an honestly tasty pizza. A bit on the pricey side but the slices are big and it's so worth it. Try the all meat and pesto stick. Cash only, atm across the street. - Miss Jimenez
Awesome cakes, pies & cheesecakes! Try their peach cheesecake... delicious! - Kathy C.
Beer roulette is always a good choice and nice selection of beers as well - Lo H
