Café Kalkhoven

If you're looking for a hamburger , look elsewhere (Villa Zeezicht, De Blaffende Vis...). The hamburger here is pretty much convenience food with some lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise added on top.

Look for the framed Heineken shares on the wall. Good for a beer if you are in the area.

The space is fantastic! Very comfortable and Cousy. The Amstel bier Radler is good ;)

That was great apple pie I have ever had and also the great staff .

Food is really not worth the money. Have lunch/dinner elsewhere. Drinks & service are ok. Comes handy when queueing to visit Anne Frank's house: you'll need something hot to keep you alive!

Nothing. Bad service. The waiter is rude and he dind't let my husband stay there with me when i was drinking just because he wasn't. They doesn't like latin tourist .

Great location, overviewing canals and westerkerk , but not the best coffee in town . Have a beer instead.
