STILL the best breakfast/brunch uptown. A lil pricier than Slim Goodie's but the fresh raw juices are oh so good. Food is just.... #YUM. Friendly service . Indoor/Outdoor seating. Quaint, old school.
New location; waiting line is quite shorter compare with the first location. Food pretty much the same as good. Crab meat omelette n shrimp and grits are the best of surreys.
The shrimp and grits are some of the best I have had and the homemade bagels with avocado mash are awesome as well . Arrive early, it gets very crowded .
Me and my friends had like 5 different things and everything was delicious, well served and good prices! Service was absutdly amazing even if we had to wAit like 30 mins but there is a bar next
Had the spinach sandwich of some sort and potato salad and was so good! So were the eggs and coffee . And atmosphere was great!
Very cute . Shrimp and grits or banana foster french toast . Gets very busy on the weekends and cash only ! Has outdoor/indoor seating
My favorite brunch spot in New Orleans. Everything is so delicious, the wait is 100% worth it and goes by quickly of you get a Bloody Mary or two next door at Le Bon Temps :)
i had breakfast here and it was wonderful! I tend to keep it simple I had a regular cup of joe and the breakfast burrito which was wonderful! i'll definitely be back:-)
Ease the wait with drinks next door at Le Bons Temp - the hostess trudges over to collect parties regularly. Fast food , easy on the wallet, and the pain perdue is perfect.
Everything is good here. Everything.
The food and service were great, this will be my new uptown breakfast spot !
Yum. Everything is great!
The limeade is the BOMB! Their biscuits and gravy are the best in the city !
The Costa Rican breakfast is great, but be sure to add black beans !
This is probably the best thing on their breakfast menu and the biscuit wasn't very good.

Get the bananas Foster French toast . It is perfection. Not heavy, due to the excellent homemade bread .
Fresh squeezed orange juice is like sticking a straw in an orange ... sausage is great too. Awesome place!

Shrimp and grits are phenomenal!
Banana 's french toast are delicious!
Costa Rican breakfast with sausage and black beans was excellent! Could've used a corn tortilla or something though.
good for brunch and lunch
The Costa Rican breakfast w/ chorizo is to die for! Absolutely delicious :)
The pineapple orange mango juice is freaking delicious
Slow Braised Pulled Pork special is awesome. Very filling.
Bring cash to avoid paying ATM fees. Bottomless coffee and best OJ in town .
Shrimp and grits was something special
The coffee is delicious here!
Costa Rican breakfast bowl ftw.
Gotta get the boudin !!! Amazing!
Better than the original. Awesome chef ! Read my review on Yelp: http://bit.ly/qrvPqd
For my first decree as mayor of surrey's. I hear by give it two thumbs down. Coffee good. Grits good. Corned beef hash awful.
Getthe migas with grits ! Best grits I have ever had.
Shrimp and grits
Juices are great but $$$$ and no refills .
Banana Fosters French Toast , get it.

Banana pancakes are perfect
No credit cards, no refills , marginal food... The service isn't bad, but c'mon that's hardly a consolation... It's breakfast .
Awful place, the hostess was rude and kept skipping people. Not good business.
