Salt and pepper wings - best in the valley. Monday nights are two for one appetizers . Seafood Boxty - delish! Top it all off with the Gingerbread pudding . Locals LOVE 'The Gate'.
The Bangers-n-Mash and the Steak and Guinness Pie were delicious, but the Yorkies and Sticky Toffee Pudding were AMAZING!
2 for 1 Appy's Monday to Wednesday 3pm to 6pm. Discounts on all Draft beers too. Now that's Happy Hour (s). Excellent service & very informative server.

Beef and barley soup followed by shepherd's pie with emerald greens and sticky toffee pudding with espresso ice cream . Swallow it all down with a few pints of Guinness !

Steak sandwich was a good choice. But the gravy was an even better choice.
There is nothing better anywhere than their Irish (lamb ) stew . Wish it was gluten free !

Horrible service and food wasn't much better. Fries were undercooked, veggies were undercooked, garlic toast soggy because they stuck in mussel juice . ...list goes on! no wonder the place was dead!
