If you get there early you can really appreciate the monastic life, and the cafe at the top of the hill serves great Italian food in big portions at reasonable prices
Just to make you wonder, the mummified blessed in the church , Alberto Besozzi, died in 1205.

Posto assolutamente da visitare.. è vero c’è una lunga scalinata ma ne vale proprio la pena! Bello il posto e soprattutto il panorama!
L’ascensore consente di evitare la scalinata che però finisce per sottrarre fascino al luogo . Sito stupendo.
Antico ma ancora attivo monastero incastonato nella roccia a strapiombo sul lago . Meglio arrivare da Stresa col battello.
Un gioiello da non perdere.... Meglio se dal lago !
