Hyatt Grand Central New York

Great hotel . It is connected to Grand Central Terminal which is great for the constant rain that we have been getting. Grand central also has a good market which sells milk and fruit .

The Grand Club , on the 16th floor of the hotel , has indoor and outdoor seating , where guests can work or socialize while having breakfast or early evening hors d’oeuvres. Read more

16th floor concierge lounge has some tasty food. Morning breakfast is fantastic! Come early to beat the rush. The evening meal is even better! The staff is friendly and helpful.

Grand Hyatt New York is a great place to stay! Is located near to interesting attractions in the city . In rooms you'll find everything you need for your convenience. Wi-Fi is not for free.

The location of this hotel is superb, you will always know your way back via metro. It seems it has been remodeled and looks awesome. The wifi was free and worked fine

If you're staying at the Grand Hyatt, a good place to eat is fairly cheap is Everyday Gourmet Deli at E. 41st St and Lexington. Great hot bar , pizza , and sandwiches made to order. Bananas 2 for $1.00!

Restauant for breakfast is relatively small for this size hotel - and there's always a line and wait. Go to the market fresh across the lobby, which is open 24/7.

Great room prices for downtown and really nice rooms. The rooms have lots of plugs and the light switches are neat.

Stayed 2 days during #Sandy. Pleasantly surprised by gorgeous remodel, nice staff . Great room. (except for wifi which was down for most of day #2)

Good pizza and soup . Take it to your room. There are lighter options like yogurt and salads . Open late got mine at 11pm

The lobby is huge and gorgeous; and perfect for working and relaxing. 24/7 Market inside is very convenient. Location is perfect.

Lounge on the first floor is a really cool place to grab a night cap. Good scotch selection and tasty small plates .

The staff here are great! Very accommodating some rooms are really fabulous in here, totally unexpected in the suites.

If you have not seen this hotel recently...you really should! The lobby is revamped and the rooms look great! Bathroom is a little small but the decor and ambiance is nice!

Sits right on top of Grand Central so there is a lot to do right below the hotel . Staff is very nice and room was large - for NYC!

The renovations are done and the hotel is beautiful!! There's a Club Lounge with an outdoor balcony . Day and night difference since the upgrade.

Everyone employee is very pleasant and friendly . I recommend to anyone coming in from out of town , close to subway and shopping centers.

Nice central hotel but busy due to grand central location but convenient for walking to main attractions . Do not order water in room service it's $12 for a 1L bottle. Luggage storage is $3 per item!

P.S. Lights turn off every hour... sometimes it seems every 15-30 mintues. Many times I was showering and the lights went out during which makes it inconvenient because you then have to get out.

Great place to stay in New York! Good service and everything is very close to the hotel !

I loved my stay here. The beds were comfortable , the sheets smelled clean and the store downstairs had Dr Pepper .

Relatively good sized rooms (for Manhattan) and a nice upper floor gym .

Take a picture of you room number with your smartphone. That way you don't have to remember it at midnight.

This is a great hotel for your business travels. A perfect fit for meetings and special events .

Nice hotel and great location, but I don't understand having to pay $15 for the basic (read:slow) wifi per day.. I think it's time to stop considering wifi a luxury , I've got work to do.

Rooms are small, like in almost every hotel in Manhattan, but they have a nice decor. The lobby looks good.

Most of the renovation is done and the newly done-up rooms are contemporary and look great. The last of the renovation should be completed in mid-October.

The locations is the best things about this place. Customer service, facilities, complementary service are below satisfying. The A/C in my room wasn’t working properly.

Huge hotel right next to Grand Central station . Ridiculous rates for acceptable rooms. But, you couldn't ask for a much better location.

The Market in the lobby is a great place to grab something to eat. Their quiches (from Les Tartes de Francoise) are amazing!

Wireless is free, despite what others say. Just login to wireless with the password "lobby". It's all good!!

Hotel is looking great since the remodel. Upgrade to grand club , it's worth it!

Had an excellent stay! Everything was so convenient, and did not need to go far for anything. The hotel was huge and busy, but exciting!

If you're ever stranded in the city , with no good options to use the "little girls/boys" room, go to the nearest 3 or 4 star hotel lobby. Their facilities are top rate. IJS
