One of the best war museums you will ever visit!

The golden dome is quite characteristic of this military school. Decorated by canons on the outside, this place has the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte!

A good place to spend the afternoon, even if you don't consider the military history museum in the location.

It's free to stroll through the grounds if you're not interested in the military exhibits . But skip the cafe unless you're desperate for grub. The food is fine, but the ambiance is pure cafeteria .

Beautiful view of the hotel des invalides. Good picture vantage point. Good new year fireworks spot.
