Everything I've eaten here is delicious, but if you're in the mood for a sweet brunch the Pain Perdu earns it's place as the name of the store. It's phenomenally yummy.
The quality of the pastries here is slightly uneven. The pear pastry was really good - moist, rich & flaky even after 2 days. The Gateau Basque (custard cream cake ) was very good - moist & rich.
Best croissants in Toronto and around. Love to go there and have a croissant and latte , is sooooo goooood :-) :-)
Best pastry , and great french food , but a little pricy . Small place, very comfy and only french music ! Delicious :P
Everyone who works here is legit french so you know it's good. The croissants are maybe the best I've ever had.
Roquefort and leek quiche is always my go-to order at this lovely bakery cafe .
Croissant had many layers but since it was near 3pm, texture was only so-so. The taste was OK. When warmed up it was pretty good - pretty flaky. The cinnamon pastry was pretty flaky but tasted muted.
Delicious, but very heavy French food . Mocha was very rich
Best French patisserie in Toronto, maybe in all of Canada IMHO
Nice place with great pastries but a "no stroller" rule means we often have to pass it by.
Delicious gateaux basque ! Best I've had . Awesome service
Authentic bakery ! Amazing breads and great prepared foos
Every time I go, I pick up 1 of each kind of croissant they have. They are the best in Toronto.
During covid-19 they're open 8-3 wed-sun
Everything is good here. Everything.
Warm and cozy atomsphere but no organic milk or soya milk .
Favourite quiche in the city
The pain au raisins is just as good as the ones we had in Paris.
This is one of the best pain au chocolats I've ever had.
Fresh. French. Hmm
Gateau Basque is excellent
order the pain perdue - best ever!
The salmon and chive-scrambled eggs with caviar is delicious. Order an extra croissant - you won't regret it. - Andrew Archer
I popped in yesterday for a latte and a double chocolate biscotti and was astounded by the array of beautiful homemade cookies! I will certainly be back. - Stephanie B
