Housed in the former Danish embassy , this retreat embraces a homey feel. Cozy up in one of the library nooks or peer out onto the zoo’s ostriches and gazelles while enjoying breakfast downstairs.
Top hotel , outstanding service . The weekend we stayed there the small but beautiful spa was almost always empty. I don’t like hotel breakfasts - but this one is one oft the best I know in Germany.

Phenomenally beautiful hotel . It was love at first sight. Balcony looked down on the wild ponies and ostriches of the Berlin zoo . Please stay here if you get a chance.

Close to the Zoo , how not to love that their theme is "animals". Design and boutique done right, quite untacky, really. Wish it were in East Berlin.

Don't get the presidential suite. The ceiling is around 5m high. Feels a but awkward. The breakfast is great

The staff is too rude. The door man started a fight with me because I locked my bike to a lamp post outside of the hotel (on a public street). The reaction of the management was bad as well .
High class Hotel ohne zu krassen Stock im Ar***. Sehr schick . Sehr zuvorkommend. Einfach sehr professionell. Die Zimmer im Altbau haben direkten Zoo-Blick.
