Loading luggage on to a SkyBus is simple: keep items vertical where possible, or on their side if not, and if the front looks packed there's a second luggage rack half way down the bus .

Never had a problem regardless of what these bad tips are saying. Some buses may be packed but this definetly beats an expensive taxi ride.

On arrival, head towards the main railway station concourse, to get yourself properly orientated, as the signage in the underground concrete bus terminal is poor, limited and confusing.

The service is efficient & frequent. Never waited much more than 10mins. People complaining about crowded buses should get a taxi , pay a lot more & leave room for the rest of us

I always find the Skybus service good and efficient. Much better than Sydney's airport link train which is more expensive and usually crowded and dirty .

SkyBus is a great cheap service that rubs 24 hours a day. You people complaining about hotel transfer why don't you try walking?

SO much more efficient than a can from the airport . And about $40 cheaper.

If you're in hurry, don't bother getting the hotel transfer . You could wait up to 20 mins ++ until they assigned a van for you. True that SkyBus is not as good as before.

Melbourne deserves better than the overpriced, slow, lazy Skybus operation. Shocking that this is visitors' first impression of the city . Do this tip if you agree.

$16 for a one-way adult ticket to the airport . It's more than half the price of a cab for the same transfer.

Its no longer a comfortable coach. Expect a sardine-packed coach when you get on the wrong timing. Skybus drivers sometimes are EXTREMELY RUDE. Like it or not, they are non-educated some of them.

Skybus is rubbish, but it's all Melbourne has. Get to the terminal in time to be refused boarding at least once due to only one over-full bus every 10 minutes.
