Catfish is delicious! Try the sauteed or blackened..both full of flavor. Can't go wrong with any of the sides. Collards yummy.. not heavy and greasy.

This is lunch life right now at Vonda's Kitchen, on West Kenny Street in Newark, NJ. Fried Whiting, Baked Mac & Cheese , Sautéed Spinach . Mmmmm, yummy, yummy for my tummy!! Don't hate!! LOL

Breakfast menu is nice and tastes homemade . The ginger lemonade is delish.

Turkey wings are delicious!! The collards and cabbage mix are perfection... Can't wait to come back!!

The salmon cakes were great...but they took so long, I could have went to Shoprite and went home and made them (I live in South Jersey). Waitress did nothing but complain.

If you're supposed to be open on a Wednesday at 7AM, you would expect the place not to be dark with doors locked at 7:30Am
