The Donut Hole

Opened in 1968. Designed by John Tindall, Ed McCreany and Jesse Hood. Unique drive-though shop that is shaped like a giant donut . On both sides of the small bakery are 26-foot fiberglass donuts .

The treats are garnished with whimsical toppings like M&M's and Cinnamon Toast Crunch , and there's a chocolate bar that's coated in an extraneous blanket of chocolate chip . Read more

The world's best donut drive-through: Drive into a donut shaped cave , pick your donut out from the windows along the side and pay at the end. Its a must-visit LA attraction , open 24 hours .

You enter through one side of the donut , do your ordering in the center, and exit through the other side.

Although it was originally part of a 1960s Donut Hole chain that is long out of business, it was the only one of its locations to bear the giant drive-through donuts .
