Don't get the shepherd's pie . It is just a plate of ground beef and vegetables in a slimy sauce with a plop of mash potatoes in the center. Everything else I have gotten here is great!

Service was fast and great. One of my favorite dishes is the grilled lemon pepper chicken with rice and some veggies ..mmmmm!

Great service, just don't take your buzzer past the curb or you could be waiting aimlessly. The steak was great and everything was hot and tasty!!

They have great food and drinks. I love their mashed potatoes and their Maui Margarita . Very yummy food, and very reasonably priced. :]

To beat the lunch rush go a few minutes before noon and grab a seat at the bar . Great food, reasonable price, good atmosphere. Busy place!

Always order the croissants and if you're off work the next day, order the 'Painkiller '! Thank me later!

Spin dip is the best hands down, beats any other restaurant . Why? Because they actually use spinach and it doesn't taste like queso dip :)

You may wait awhile, but its worth it! Never had any trouble with service. Try the dijon chicken and mushrooms , its soooo good!

I don't know what everyone else is talking about with bad service. Our experience was great! I love the onion rings & the Monte Cristo !

Try the chicken tenders & fried shrimp . If going on a Saturday, try to beat 6:00 dinner crowd. Not too expensive . Two thumbs up!!!

I tried a variety, I haven't been in since they opened. Tried potato skins & I like them. Everything else was greasy, over or under cooked. Salad had lots of wilted lettuce, that was my food only.

Do yourself a favor and get a a mango sangria ! Lawdy they are gooood!!

Didn’t think my first review would be my worst review but, nothing good came out of their terrible service. Anyone looking to go to this cheddars in large party of 5 or more should avoid at all cost.

Be prepared for a long wait . This place is very popular. So far the food has been great but due to the large amount of customers the service is lacking. Bottom line : low price, good food.

We went to Cheddar 's in Independence. The service was so horrible...out waiter was rude, the food was cold, rice was uncooked, steak that was ordered medium well was bloody, table was never cleared.

Poor service, when we pointed out a bug in the food, the manager came to the table, took a fork and was inspecting the bug all at the table and asked us what kind of bug we thought it was! Gross!
