When fairground travelers Antoine Harris and his wife came with the 1948 fair on the Place Jourdanplein, people were queuing non-stop to taste from their handmade fries. Because of this huge success, they decided to stay and open a proper business on the Place Jourdanplein.

Superb chips , worth queuing for. Sauces are very good, we had the mayonnaise , tartar and andalouse. Tartar could have done with more vinegar / pickle (I am a tartar snob - it was still great).
We’re 2018, but no cards accepted?! Only cash (and in €, as I would have some spare yen’s in my back pocket :)
maybe the best fries in brussels. try the andalouse sauce and eat your fries at a bar’s terrace .
The most legendary 'fritkot' in Brussels. Most bars around the plaza tolerate you bringing fries from this place and eat them in their establishment (as long as you consume some drinks ;-) )
« Must visit » in Brussels. Go to the square on a sunny day, grab some fries and enjoy them at the bar with some glass of Belgium beer

Delicious fries and great selection of sauces. There are lines almost at any time of day 🍟 😋
Typically the kind of place where, thanks to the foursquare community, you can avoid queuing 1h15min like the other tourists , and directly get your fries in a sandwich at the booth in the middle.
Fantastic chips . I would recommend the Andalouse sauce if you feel like a change from mayonnaise .
Frit Flagey serves much better fries . Having a beer in one of the neighbouring bars on Place Jourdan is a nice experience though.
