Thunderbird Cafe

I had the breakfast burrito this morning and quite enjoyed it. The mole and black beans were on point. If they used chorizo instead of bacon , I think it would be excellent.

Just about everything on the menu is great. Standout items include the fried green tomatoes , potato soup , biscuits and gravy , and meatloaf . All the burgers and hot dogs are excellent.

This is no greasy spoon. Breakfast items are made with quality ingredients. Generous portions , reasonable prices & delightful service. 10% off @ Hank's & Clementine 's with paid receipt. Yummy grits !

Great view of mountains from our table. Redneck Reuben is amazing! Happy Hour 50% pancakes . Must do Creamy Grits .

The biscuits and gravy were tasty and the salt grits were great. What a fun little place!

The Thunderburger (2 patties) makes a great meal, but I wish I had thought to get the breakfast potatoes instead of fries . Really good burger . Really good.

Everything we have tried is great. Reuben 's breakfast and the meatloaf today... both excellent.

When we come to Massanutten , we always visit at lest once. You must come for breakfast ! We're eager to try Hank's Smokehouse and Clementine , operated by the same folks.

We use to go to this cafe every year when we visited Massanutten . One year my brother got food poison from their sausage . If you still want to give it a try I would say stay away from the sausage .

Normally we end vacation by hitting the road early after toast and cereal, but discovering Thunderbird Cafe changed that. One last breakfast .

Its always cold so bring a sweater. Morning food and staff are inconsistent. Dinner seems to be more even keel.
