Small, loud and busy: everything you'd expect an urban dinner to be! Tasty if very greedy food (esp. the burgers ), super quick service . Don't know how the two line cooks turn around food so fast!

Great food, great service. Portions are great. Try the omelets ! Like, all of them. Do expect a line , especially for breakfast , and if you're eating alone, you will be at the counter. Highly recommend!

Hot links and Eggs with hash is a wonderful way to start your day as a tourist in San Fran. Friendly staff but be patient as you almost always have to queue for a booth .

Fantastic breakfast ! Be prepared to queue for a table, but it is well worth it! Hash browns are amazing. Eggs perfectly cooked to order. Crispy bacon . What’s not to love!!

The Corned Beef Hash was spot on, and the Classic Mac and Cheese was divine. Come hungry, be patient, and you'll be transported to a magical time.

Warm waitress - something I hadn't experienced in many similar restaurants . Bacon and avocado cheeseburger was nice. Sit at the counter and watch the chefs at work - its fun!

Everything I have had is good. From there garden salad , breakfast items and dinners . I come here every visit. Great diner .

I misjudged this place. I thought it would be a tourist trap due to it's location, with bad food. It's not, It's awesome. I'm a local and eat here regularly. Super Nachos and Fried Chicken .. my faves!

The food is great and the cooks are really hard workers. Be patient, it might take a little time since they're very busy, but it's well worth it.

Love me a greasy spoon with an unsolved, noir-like mystery tied to it. (Google "Pinecrest Diner SF shooting.") I've only ever had burgers and fries here, but they never disappoint.

Open 24 hours and they have milkshakes to go. Satisfied my 4am craving! Watch out in this part of town late my uber driver said!

They say "we serve the best breakfast of san francisco". I don't know if it is real (In sf for a couple of days no time for comparison) but a stop at this diner could represent a good experience.

Food is ok. Nothing fancy , but you know what you get, classic dinner confort food. Service is ok too, you dont need to wait too long for the food.

There are unadvertised restrooms at the back, down the stairs.

The hotlink breakfast was delicious. The nachos are a culinary revelation after a night of drinking.

I have been 3 times for Breakfast in the last two weeks. While the service is nonchalant... read slow, the food is decent to good quality and you get quite a bit for your $$$ considering its SF
