11 July: Though completed in 1860, its Arts and Crafts interior gives it a much earlier feel. William Morris's house is noted for its peaceful gardens and beautiful stairway.

Do try to engage with the volunteers. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and useful they were. Much better than reading the pamphlets
