Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Thursday night in the lobby lounge is THE place to be with live music and amazing vodka martinis . And a wicked fireplace !
One of the most luxurious and elegant Teas in Toronto. A large tea selection with knowledgable staff , lovely sandwiches and divine pastries . The scones are good but could be improved upon.
Went there on a Friday evening to have drinks at the bar and hang out in the lobby/lounge area. There was a three piece band that were incredible and played great music . Definitely would return.
Must visit and sit there in the lobby for coffee and enjoy the piano playing
Best service ever, catering to all your needs. Great drinks and bartenders make everyone feel welcome. Cheese plate is a must.
TIFF 2012 TIP: As world famous as the people who stay here, the ShangriLa is home to more than a few TIFF parties, and a great place for a drink and a schmooze en route to a film . Read more
The whole place is scent controlled. Momofuku in the attached building is pretty fun. The 5th floor gym has a steam room .
Just three blocks from TIFF Bell Lightbox, the hotel is a landmark destination within the entertainment district, featuring 202 rooms, including 49 suites and five specialty suites.
Had lunch one day at the hotel 's signature restaurant , 'Boska.' A surprisingly good burger ! I was taken aback—haven't known hotels to do good burgers .
We stayed in the hotel for 12 days in a row as a Golden Circle member. When we asked for the late checkout they asked for half of the room price to extend beyond 2 pm. They see you as walking dollars!
Great vibe, great drinks and great snacks to compliment the drinks

Amazing event spaces . What other ballroom has a patio . I was at 2 events at the museum room an loved the windows and chandeliers
The 10th floor has a ghost . We were in two different rooms on the 10tth floor where the blinds and shades drew themselves down at odd times.
Nice afternoon tea with pianist playing Xmas music . Leave enough room for excellent scones . But freezing cold whenever someone walked through door.
In addition to the room charge they block your credit card for each day of your stay by 200 CAD. They can not even trust a Shangri La member till the end of their stay
Great service. No black tea bags in my room so I call up and they bring me a pot of hot black tea .
High tea in the lobby lounge was nice, especially with the pianist
Room 610 has a fantastic balcony which is lovely in the evening sun.
My favorite hotel in Toronto
Its nice. If you are meeting someone in the lobby area and they arrive before you come downstairs, if they sit on any couches they will be approached to buy something. (Bit tacky ) Decor is average.
Wonderful hotel to stay in however let down by its dismal breakfasts and poor resident policy for high teas .
A fabulous hotel . Stay here rather than trying to maximize your hotel points at some other generic hotel chains.
Probably the nicest hotel in Toronto .
The site of our first Shangri-La Hotel Toronto Asian Film Summit that will take place on Monday, September 10 during #TIFF12.
Fantastic hotel . 100 points for room design, service, gym .
Love the live piano in the lobby lounge !
Great hotel . Perfect downtown location.
Try out yoga . Boot Camp and spin classes ! Beautiful and soothing oasis in the city .
Reception is very problematic. When you share a problem, they do not listen but keep on repeating what already said. Pretending to be polite ...
Walk inside the lobby rather than outside on the street. Less chance of you being hit by falling glass.
Lobby restrooms are touch less, wave your hand to get in.
Best earl grey martini in town ...and on earth
The environment is chic !!!
Amazing live music
Try the Minskaya vodka martini .
Wave hand to open restroom doors
Have a cocktail by the fire in the lobby
Love it!!!!
Hope this bachelorette's party will be fun :$
Incredible service!
Toronto life most stylish party on now for #TIFF13
When this place is finished it is going to be AMAZING!
Loving it!!!
Overpriced bar . Cold ambience. No snacks with your drinks. Ripoff. Definitely not the same as their New York City 's hotel .
Service stinks.
Atlantic char was made well, but I didn't expect anything less, even the bread was delicious. Salad was flavourful and light! Our graceful host poured water from amazingly large decanters! An art! - Monica M
16$ for a couple espressos. Unheard of, even at fancy spots. - Sahar Elias
First time here? Try their hammam & gommage combo, followed by a 60-minute full body massage. You won't regret it. You'll feel like a completely different person afterwards. - Wendy
Wonderful hotel, beautiful lobby, attentive customer service, gorgeous suites, perfect location. Recommended! - Bogdan Zadorozhny
Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea. Bring your appetite because there's so much to try. Scones and jam are very good. - Julie L
Outstanding service as expected. Heated floors are a nice touch. Check out the spa - Laura Shum
Great cocktails, fun crowd and do a good job of keeping it not too crowded - John Duncan
