Pool In The Park

For a public centre, the availability of pools is hit and miss, depending on who you are and where you want to swim . Closed for 2hrs on Friday afternoons for staff training . Check the timetable online

Anytime from 5-7pm on most week nights there are swimming lessons in half the pool which make the other half very crowded . There is adult only swim 8pm on Mondays ????

Best time to go early evening, no queues and hardly anyone in the pool.

Don't forget 20p coin (refundable) needed for the lockers & also for the hair dryers (non refundable).

Bring a gas mask. It sinks here these days

Great pool & half empty!

Don't use the shampoo and shower gel machine. It will probably be empty and you'll lose your money.

Looks worse by the month

Always be prepared to wait a long time to pay.
