Great area to spend an afternoon in. Coffee , shopping, ice cream , The Chocolate Bar , and restaurants galore.
It's a nice place to shop and eat. The Parkin is insane though.
Park in the garage only if you plan on buying something to obtain a parking validation sticker

Parking is a nightmare , so our best advice is shop early in the day or park in the garage and get validation from one of the adjacent stores or restaurants .

It can be very difficult to park on the weekends, especially if the weather is nice.
Some places will validate for the parking garage .
Look for the old school "Ghostbusters" ambulance sitting in front of Elite Medical Care.
Make sure you know how to come back in the hotel THERE ARE NO TAXI there!!!!

No public restrooms in this area...feel free to use the restaurants and bars around the area for their facilities

I honestly don't understand why anyone goes here. This is by far the biggest parking nightmare in Houston. In the past, at least the parking garage was free, but now it's $10 flat rate . Avoid.
Stop signs desperately needed at Kelvin and University
Overrated, nothing special. Tree free naked streets makes you walk among the parked cars. No shades preventing window shopping.
