Dark Tower Comics

Been looking for a good shop since I moved to Chicago. Too many shops with a snobby attitude, but not this one. Great people, lots of back issues, and a short walk from home. Now my regular store.

This is the best comics book store I have been in. Everyone is really nice and had great conversations with Mark, the owner. They have a wide variety of comics that are really organized .

HUGE $1 comics section with the most-wanted titles. Great staff too. It’s not as close as my neighborhood comic stores , but it’s my new favourite.

I've been collecting comics for almost twenty years now and have shopped at many stores but Dark Tower is easily the best one. Good staff and owner and well organized collection.

The employees are very friendly . Amazing selection and prices. They bag and board every comic you purchase! I highly recommend visiting here, before any other comic shop .

Brian C is an idiot, everything in store is in alphabetical order . Been going there since I bought it. May be the dumbest guy ever. Maybe the alphabet in his world is different from the one in ours.

Great place to set up a pull list. Friendly , helpful staff and a great selection.

If you are new to comics and don't know where to start, make sure to talk to Mark, the owner. He will definitely find you something you will enjoy.

Won't put a comic on hold if you're 5 minutes away, is condescending if you can't find a comic (he DOESN'T have it in any form of a working alphabetical order ). No longer my backup shop.

If you are buying trades, make sure you give your name. Your 5th trade gets you a nice discount . This is a great shop.

the owner is really nice. i was bemoaning the fact i cant seem to get a wolverine figure out of the vending machine, and he hooked me up.
