Great dive bar in OC ! Fun and lively crowd . Must get peanuts with your drinks and a great way to make friends, just don't be creepy. Might need to circle around a bit to find parking .

This place is the epitome of dive bar , but with about a hundred beers on tap . Expect peanuts on the floor, shoot some pool, and slide a few down the shuffleboard table.

No a/c, but awesome concept! 141 beers on tap I believe, so it's a craft brew must stop in the area.

Great peanuts shells on the floor, world record number of drafts on tap , crazy stuff hanging from the ceiling place since Zebs Boat House closed decades ago.

If you are tourist (I'm not), go during the day. Bring some food (or order pizza to be delivered -- ask the bartender )and your favorite reading apparatus. After 8pm for locals. Weekends for the kids.

This is not "the best dive bar ". I don't even consider it a "dive" but nonetheless it's pretty decent. Just gets way too packed.

Was a Bartender there in the 80's. It appears to have changed very little since then. Loved the place

Sunday through Thursday is always best, unless you like attending the circus .
