Decent Taiwanese food for the west side. I liked the scallion pancake and squid ink xlb (though could’ve been juicier). The pork belly was a little tough.
I prefer the lunch over the dinner menu . Out of the eggplant , fried tofu , xo noodles , walnut shrimp and the beef roll , the beef roll seemed the most “fusion” and the favourite.
Walk in, order a badly-needed cocktail , and get the Taiwanese Sunday Gravy - a sort-of Italian, sort-of Chinese pasta dish that’s the best thing here.
I’ve eaten here a bunch and the XO fatty noods, shrimp and pork dumplins, and the General Tso’s cauliflower are the best things on the menu without a doubt
The beef noodle soup Is legit OG. Orange chicken Is fantastic as well . Two big thumbs up
If you like it spicy the Dan Dan Mian is perfect! The portions are a bit small to do family style though.
General Tso Cauliflower , Dan Dan noodles , scallion pancakes
Pricey but excellent. Cauliflower is really good.
BBQ pork and general tso’s cauliflower were amazing
i like the zha jiang mian. bouncy noodles !
Super Americanized, overly sweet and rich.
The chicken dishes taste like chicken but not much else. The Taiwanese Sunday Gravy was really good though. Everything else is ok, nothing that made me want to come back... but I probably will.
LA times reccomends Squid ink xiao long bao
Wontons , orange chicken
Everything was delicious but the pork belly , duck pizza and General Tsos cauliflower were outstanding!
Everything is good here. It's legit Taiwanese food , which is rare on the westside.
Not bad at all! The bar nextdoor is owned by the same people and they have extra seating there.
